Fae Wisp is currently a collection of projects and tools in development to make custom LED prop creation and experimentation more accessible.
Our mission is to enable others with the ability to make their own props and to experiment with new ways to interact with props.
Our projects can be found on GitLab: https://gitlab.com/fae-wisp
Some of our current prototype projects include:
Fae Engine: A custom prop-focused LED lighting effect engine focused on the novel idea of being user programmable enabling limitless effects that users can also share with each other as simple text messages.
Fae Orb: A spherical 3D printed LED prop meant to substitute fire monkey fists for poi, puppy hammer, rope dart, etc.
Fae Wispie: An LED alternative for wicks intended for fire fans. Read More.
Fae Creator: A no-code block based web tool for creating and compiling effects that run on the Fae Engine. Still a prototype found here.
